Dr. Patrick Dallasega, together with Tobias Meyer, a computer science teacher at the TFO Max Valier in Bolzano, initiated with a group of students a “matura project” on the topic of using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Mixed Reality (MR) to measure the progress of construction projects. On 04.12.2018 a meeting was held at the Smart Mini Factory with the four interested students giving them an introduction to virtual reality using Oculus and the digital building model (BIM) of the lab. Finally, a project plan and schedule for the matura project with the students was defined.
