Adept Quattro s650H parallel robot

Description of the device:

It is a four-axis parallel robot (or delta robot) that features a four-arm design, and a large work envelope. The four identical axis motors control movement of the robot tool in X, Y, and Z directions, as well as rotation of the robot tool.

This robot is designed to be mounted above the work area suspended on a frame for smooth motion and high-throughput applications.

Adept Cobra i600 SCARA

Description of the device:

It is a high-performance 4-axis (three rotational and one translational joints) SCARA robot. The acronym SCARA stands for Selective Compliant Assembly Robot Arm, because the robot arm is rigid in the Z-axis and slightly compliant in the XY-axes, which allows it to adapt to many types of assembly operations. Such a robot is ideal for mechanical assembly, material handling, packaging, machine tending, screw driving, and other applications that require fast and precise automation.

Description of the device:

The ABB IRB 120 is a compact anthropomorphic robot with a weight of 25kg, able to handle payload of up to 3kg with a reach of 580mm. The light aluminum body, in conjunction with powerful compact motors, gives this robot arm the ability to move with speed and precision.

Universal Robots UR3

Description of the device:

FlexSim Software

Description of the device:

FlexSim is an analysis tool that allows to design a 3-dimentional computer model of an industrial system. It uses a discrete-event simulation to model systems which change state at discrete points in time as a result of specific events. As a "what-if" analysis tool, FlexSim provides quantitative feedback on a number of proposed solutions to help to find the optimal solution.

The system is used to simulate different manufacturing processes and get meaningful outputs data based on known (or assumed) input data.

Oculus Rift

Description of the device:

Oculus Riftis a virtual reality headset developed by Oculus VR. It is integrated with a positional tracking system.

Comau Exoskeleton MATE (Muscular Aiding Tech Exoskeleton)

Description of the device:

The Comau Exoskeleton MATE is an ergonomically designed structure which eases the repetitive movements and relieves the effort, thanks to a lightweight, breathable and effective postural support. It provides balance, control and strength while the exoskeleton transfers much of the burden away from the arms to the pelvis. Core application is to certify and guide humans operations to improve process quality and reduce human errors. By connecting with cobots, a real human-robot interaction is enabled. This leads to a sustainable increase of productivity and improvement of work-station quality and ergonomics.
