On 22 March 2019 the project partners from Italy and Austria met for a coordination meeting. The meeting was hosted by the HTL Wolfsberg, which with more than 60 teachers enables more than 600 pupils to complete a technical education with a Matura diploma or “Werkmeister”. The meeting was followed by a guided tour through the laboratories with a presentation of modern equipment for intelligent assembly, virtual and augmented reality as well as autonomous guided transport systems. During lunch together with Mayor Hans-Peter Schlagholz, the goals of the project were further deepened. The project, which will last until October 2020, is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Interreg V-A Italy-Austria 2014-2020 and aims at designing education and training programs for technicians and engineers in the sense of Industry 4.0.
