On September 5th a research team consisting of Prof. Ola Jon Mork and his group of phd-students Mrs. Irina-Emily Hansen, Mr. Lars Andre Langøyli Giske and Mr. Kavin Kathiresh Vijayan visited the Smart Mini Factory Laboratory. Prof. Mork is planning to set up a learning factory laboratory for highly flexible production at the campus in Ålesund and is therefore visiting various established learning factory laboratories. In the discussions, the opportunities and potential of practical learning were discussed and the importance for small and medium-sized enterprises was reaffirmed. Prof. Mork is Professor in the Department of Ocean Operations and Civil Engineering at NTNU in Ålesund, Norway.
