On October 3rd 2019 the project partners from Italy and Austria met for a coordination meeting. The meeting was hosted by the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. The meeting was followed by a guided tour through the Smart Mini Factory lab for Industry 4.0. Within the project the partners are already preparing the first trans-border training sessions in Industry 4.0 topics for students, teacher and companies. The project, which will last until October 2020, is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Interreg V-A Italy-Austria 2014-2020 and aims at designing education and training programs for technicians and engineers in the sense of Industry 4.0.
