The student Max Plattner of the Technical High School Max Valier in Bolzano is currently on a 1 month internship in the Smart Mini Factory Laboratory of the Free University of Bolzano. In his internship the student supports the researchers in the Learning Factory Laboratory for Industry 4.0 in the development of innovative technologies. This ranges from programming collaborative robots and worker assistance systems for assembly to 3D modeling of the laboratory for demonstrations of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. After an initial introduction to the topic of Industry 4.0, Max will most probably be able to further deepen his knowledge in the coming school year by supporting the SMF team in the form of a school project for investigating the use of eye tracking technologies in the production sector.
