The introduction of Industry 4.0 in small and medium-sized enterprises is the topic of the EU MSCA RISE project SME 4.0 (Industry 4.0 for SMEs). The results of the first phase of the project from 2017-2018 have now been published in the form of a book with 13 chapters and over 400 pages. The book entitled „Industry 4.0 for SMEs – Challenges, Opportunities and Requirements“ was published in January 2020 by Palgrave Macmillan. The editors of the book are the scientific coordinators of the project Prof. Dominik Matt (Free University of Bozen/Bolzano), Matt, Prof. Vladimír Modrák (Technical University Kosice) and Prof. Helmut Zsifkovits (Montan University of Leoben).
